Motorvision.TV, Europe’s leading producer for automotive content, takes a significant step forward in the digital landscape with the launch of its YouTube Primetime channel. For 6.99 Euros per month, YouTube users in Germany can now subscribe to the Motorvision.TV offering that includes access to its German-speaking 24/7 live pay-tv channel and select video-on-demand content.
Viewers can enjoy a range of high-quality magazines, lifestyle formats, in-depth documentaries on the future of the automotive industry and first-class motorsports to the YouTube community – including live broadcasts of the NASCAR Cup Series and the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship. In addition to that, Motorvision.TV continues to provide free short-form content with car reviews for everyone as part of its existing YouTube channel.
Raimund Koehler, CEO of Motorvision Group, embraces the new venture: “Almost 14 years ago, we’ve launched our YouTube channel as one of the first German automotive channels on the platform. Over 4000 videos, 221,000 subscribers and more than 220 million video views later, we are happy to take the next step with YouTube and launch one of the first German Primetime channels. Together, we’re taking automotive entertainment on YouTube to a whole new level.”
Andreas Briese, Country Director YouTube Germany: “We have been working successfully with media partners for many years, especially in Germany. With YouTube Primetime Channels, we now offer them additional opportunities to provide their top content – both live and as video on demand – as a paid service to a target audience of more than 49 million YouTube users in Germany, thus generating new subscribers. One advantage for users: They will find their favorite content bundled in one place – on YouTube. We are delighted that Motorvision TV is joining us for the German launch.”
This strategic cooperation with YouTube reinforces the Motorvision Group’s reputation as a visionary industry leader that remains one step ahead of the curve. It also highlights the company’s commitment to adaptability and flexibility in an ever-evolving media industry. In an era where traditional media is gradually giving way to digital platforms, Motorvision Group welcomes the digital revolution and has consistently positioned itself at the forefront of technological advancements. Its Motorvision.TV FAST channel, for example, has been among the first FAST channels in the world. In 2017, it has been a launch partner for platforms like Samsung TV Plus in Europe.
